Big Road Trip Day Five – Mount Evans and the Road to Idaho Springs

Mount Evans, the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and the Road to Idaho Springs – Big Road Trip 2014 Day Five Zig met Zag as we drifted back to the East on U.S. Route 40.  The day started out rainy but the weather was amazing as we headed up Mount Evans.  At 14,000+ feet, it’s the highest paved road in North America.  Very cool stuff…:) Click to see the full sized image on…
